As an actor, I have always wanted to be in the movies or at least have a weekly television series. I am now closer than ever to realizing this dream. I have developed a web series called Disaster by Design, partially based on my own life. Disaster by Design follows the comedic adventures of Cassie Harris an aspiring fashion designer who despite a series of bad luck tries and tries again to succeed. 

Why should you support THIS WEB SERIES?

Disaster by Design gives a unique perceptive to the female voice. I want to show women all around the world we can be strong, independent and financially stable without depending on men. I am tired of shows like the Real Housewives, football/baseball/Basketball wives that show women are seen scheming, gossiping, fighting, and undermining each other mostly over men. Additionally, we do not ever want to disregard men. We embrace the view that men seek companionship, friendship, partnership from women who can think and act for themselves.

Disaster by Design needs your support to become the series that I know it can be. I don’t have $15,000 lying around to pay for the expenses it takes to run a quality television series.  I can only use so many homes to shoot, so many college students to film. To have a professional quality series, I need to hire a director, director of photography, camera operators, lighting techs, audio recorders, editors and actors.

Now you make ask why not use volunteers? Volunteers are just that, people who work long hours with no pay and in the past attempts volunteers have proven not be a reliable source. This budget is basic but the impact is long lasting. Below are ways you can show your support.

A Thank you letter from me

$ 10 USD

For a gift of $10 I will send you a personal letter from me thanking you for your support.
 

Cast Photo

$ 25 USD

For your contribution of $25 we will mail you an 8 X 10 cast photo that is signed by each of our principle players
 

Season 1 (DVD)

$ 50 USD

For a contribution of $50 you will receive the complete first season of Disaster by Design
 

Cast Party Invitation & a t-shirt

$ 100 USD

For a contribution of $100 you will receive an invitation to the cast party. We will also send you a Disaster by Design t-shirt. *Please note you will have to pay for your own travel, hotel, air fare, etc.
 

A walk on role

$ 200 USD

For your contribution of $200 you will receive a walk on role playing yourself. Plus you will get a credit in that episode. If you live outside Indianapolis, IN you will have to pay for your own travel, hotel, etc.
 

Producer Credit

$ 500 USD

For your contribution of $500 your name will be listed as a Producer! You will also get Season 1 on DVD plus an inviation to the cast party!
 

Executive Producer

$ 1000 USD

For a contribution of $1000, you will receive a credit as Executive Producer, an invitation to the cast party, season 1 of Disaster by Design on DVD, a t-shirt, signed cast photo, you also get to be listed on our web site!
 

I will personally sing to you!

$ 15000 USD

You are bold to give the entire budget of $15,000! To say thank you I will personally fly to wherever you live and sing to you. Sure I can't sing but it my way of saying thanks.
